What is Docker and why do I need it?
Docker is a platform that packages an application and all its dependencies into a container, so the code runs the same way everywhere.
How do I use Docker on the server?
We provide a VPS with Docker Engine preinstalled. You connect over SSH, then run docker pull and docker run.
What applications can I run in Docker?
Almost anything: websites, databases, Kafka queues, CI/CD pipelines, 1C, Bitrix and AI services.
How do I make a container reachable from outside?
Publish the ports in docker-compose.yml or expose the service through Docker Swarm ingress.
How much does it cost?
The cost depends on the VPS plan and billing period you choose. Current prices are shown in the Plans section above and in the client area.
How do I change environment variables without a full restart?
Edit the .env file referenced in docker-compose.yml and run docker compose up -d <service>. Only that service is recreated, while the other containers keep running.
Can I update containers without downtime?
Yes. Enable the rolling update strategy in Docker Swarm: the new image version is rolled out across replicas, traffic is shifted gradually, and old containers are removed only after a successful healthcheck.
